Mildura horses tips & previews

Welcome to Mildura for the Mildura Gateway Mdn Plate over the 1200m trip, where punters have sorted through a big field to find their preferred runners. Looking at the early win market order, White Pointer holds down the mantle as the shortest runner in the market, closely followed by King Koruna sitting second, Gamadale Paddy holding third, and Singapore Splash tucked in right behind them in fourth spot. It is a fascinating maiden puzzle where the yarn of the race centers around how these market leaders handle their respective barriers and early positioning across the Mildura circuit.

While we do not have full career form details or past start breakdowns supplied in the pack for this particular meeting, the stable and jockey combinations give us plenty of intriguing angles to ponder. King Koruna steps out from barrier six for trainer C Maher with Eoin Walsh in the saddle, while the market elect White Pointer jumps from barrier five with Jacob Opperman steering for trainer Michael Hickmott. Meanwhile, Nathan Hobson saddles up both Invisible Caravan from barrier three with Logan Mcneil aboard and Sammie Ellen Boy from the wide gate of thirteen with Chelsea Taylor.

For those punters looking a little further down the win market order, runners like Little Gangster from barrier twelve with Sam Kennedy for trainer Shawn Mathrick, Princess Geisha drawn in barrier eight for Patrick Payne and Jack Martin, and Gamadale Paddy out in barrier eleven for Taige Weir and Will Gordon add plenty of depth to the contest. Whether you are leaning towards the sharp end of the market with White Pointer or hunting for value further down, this 1200m maiden has provided a cracking spectacle for all concerned.
