Welcome to Mount Isa for the Sportsbet BM50 over the sharp 900m sprint, where punters are lining up for a fascinating dash on a fine day with the track rated good. Looking at how the win market has shaped up, Polly Hoffa holds down the mantle of the shortest runner, closely followed by Xingxing and Egyptian Lass next in line, with It's A Power and Leucaena rounding out the order as we get set for a cracking afternoon yarn on the track.

Polly Hoffa comes in for Tanya Parry carrying 60.5kg from barrier 5, having recently grabbed a solid minor placing over 1200m here after sticking on well, suggesting this drop in distance and class could suit the on-pacer nicely. Xingxing is another from the Parry yard sitting right near the head of the market, jumping from barrier 2 with Mitch Goring steering after a sixth over 1000m at Cloncurry where the run had merit, and the stable hopes a fitter horse can make a strong case here.

Egyptian Lass for Bevan Johnson is next in the betting order from barrier 4, returning off a 47-day let-up following a midfield effort at Mackay, while It's A Power adds plenty of interest from the inside alley as a noted leader who battled into third at Cloncurry last time out. With speed maps showing Polly Hoffa and It's A Power both liking to roll forward early from their respective barriers, expect a rapid sprint to the turn in what should be a great test for punters hunting a winner.
