Pakenham Synthetic (VIC) horses tips & previews

Welcome to Pakenham Synthetic for the Ladbrokes Hosted Pots Mdn Plate over 1400m, which jumped at 2:10 pm AEDT. The win market has taken shape with Angling Angel sitting right at the head of affairs as the shortest runner in the pack. Following closely behind in the market order are Genomic, The Minstrel Boy, and Egyptian Thorn, rounding out the top four early fancies that punters have gravitated towards for this maiden showdown.

Looking into the form behind those shorter prices, Angling Angel is prepared by the training partnership of Phillip and Tommy Stokes and will jump from barrier 10 with Lachlan Neindorf in the saddle. Genomic holds down the next line of betting from barrier 12 with Luke Currie steering for trainer R D Griffiths, while The Minstrel Boy lines up from barrier 8 with Ben Melham taking the ride for C W McDonald. Meanwhile, Egyptian Thorn steps out from barrier 11 for trainer Lloyd Kennewell, with Billy Egan enlisted to do the steering.

Further down the win market order, we find other intriguing contenders looking to make their mark on the synthetic surface. Station Road is drawn favourably down on the fence in barrier 1 with Carleen Hefel aboard for K J Fythe, while I'm Mim jumps from barrier 2 for trainer D C Harrison with Jade Da Rose taking the mount. Spin Class starts from barrier 3 for Tori Madigan with Jake Noonan steering, and Maharani Miss rounds out the line-up from barrier 6 for Susie Wells with Valentin Le Boeuf in the saddle. It makes for a fascinating puzzle for punters dissecting the form lines on the quick back-up of synthetic racing.
