Looking at how the win market shaped up for this competitive affair, Kingsbury has been sent out as the shortest runner at the top of the order. Following closely behind in the market order are Farakta, Sky Watcher, and Koolatah Queen rounding out the leading quartet of punters' fancies, with Russian Front, Mamuno, New York Scandal, Victoris, Russian Roni, So You Excel, Epeiric, and Tussock following in that sequence.

With the field having already jumped, the race was set up nicely across the 1400m synthetic circuit, giving the storytelling punters plenty to digest as the battle unfolded on track.
