Made steady inroads but the winner was out of reach at Gold Coast. Meets a stronger bunch.

Improved to place when 3rd beaten by 2 1/4L last run at Gold Coast but taking on stronger competition. In strong racing shape since returning from a spell. Will need a big effort to win this.

Been running well without managing to get his head in front and has only ever won here (four wins); produced an encouraging effort (third of 11, beaten just over 2l) over 6f at Gold Coast (handicap) 20 days ago.
