It is a sharp Class 3 handicap where early speed usually tells the tale, and punters are zeroing in on a handful of interesting form lines to sort out the jigsaw puzzle.

Scartoon catches the eye at the head of calculations for the A & T Sweeney yard, bringing a recent runner-up effort at Toowoomba over 870m where it pressed forward and stuck on bravely, complemented by a solid placing at Gatton prior.
