Welcome to Gawler for the Contract Engineering Mdn Plate over the 1200m on a good4 track under overcast skies. Punters looking at the early win market order will find Artful Maximus heading calculations, closely followed by Khorasan, Little Rocket, and Out Ontario in the market profiling. It is a tricky maiden affair where sorting through the exposed form lines is the primary puzzle for punters trying to land a collect in race two.

Artful Maximus sits right at the top of calculations for Sarah Rutten with Connor Murtagh booked from barrier fourteen, bringing a consistent string of placings including a solid third here over 1100m when running on hard last start. The 4-year-old is building fitness nicely and maps well on pedigree insights. Little Rocket is another key player drawing barrier eleven for D L Hewitt, coming off a terrific effort when just shaded at this venue over 1100m. Khorasan represents S G Padman from gate two, having run on as best of the rest at Strathalbyn over this journey last time out and looking deep into a campaign where consistency might finally pay off.
