Welcome to Mackay on an overcast afternoon for the Ladbrokes Switch Benchmark 65 over 1100m on a Soft5 track. Punters sizing up the win market have found Tara I Am sitting right at the top of the order of favouritism, followed closely by Triple Triple, Five Star King, and Determination rounding out the leading fancies as they prepare to jump at 2:59 pm AEDT.

The market leader Tara I Am brings some sharp form to the table for trainer Stephen Rundle and jockey Raul Silvera Olivera, having won two recent starts at Rockhampton and here at Mackay over 1100m, showing plenty of grit to snare a final bound victory fresh off a let-up. Meanwhile, Ricky Vale saddles up Determination from barrier seven with Aidan Holt steering, coming off a 64-day let-up following a solid second over 1200m here at Mackay and boasts a strong second-up record.

Looking a bit further down the speed maps and market order, Triple Triple comes into this on the quick back-up for trainer K N Smyth and jockey Warwick Satherley after a solid effort in soft going at Rockhampton and a great prior run right here over the 1100m trip, suggesting this fit runner can make its presence felt among the contenders.
