Morphettville's Sportsbet Feed Maiden Plate over 1400 metres on Good 4 going sets up at 1:27 pm AEDT with Intimus shortest in the market, followed by Opal Heritage, Brewster Buck, and Buffo. This is a genuine three-year-old plus maiden where several runners carry recent form, though a debut winner hasn't emerged from the group. The race shapes as a leaders' affair with Buffo and Intimus mapping to the front, while Egyptians Reign, Blazing Missile, and Cathay Express sit onpace, creating genuine tempo. That should suit runners who can settle midfield and make a move into the straight.

Intimus has been racing well in recent weeks, leading at Strathalbyn before surrendering late in a 3yo+ Maiden Plate—a strong indicator she's close to breaking through. From barrier 2, she'll land a touch of luck in the run and maps positively as a leader. Brewster Buck gets the positive on the rise in trip to 1400 metres second-up after fitter work, though the formline reads modest at best. Buffo returns on a short back-up after a wide-draw outing at Morphettville, and the comment notes he looks a natural fit at the distance. The rider Jake Toeroek's recent strike rate sits 37 per cent above market expectation in his last 100 rides, adding genuine colour to the booking. Opal Heritage, second-shortest, maps midfield and strengthened between runs after 22 weeks away; the form suggests she's better-suited to exotics fresh.

Blazing Missile warrants consideration further down the board. The stable is in winning form, outperforming market by 80 per cent, and runners from the yard strike at 58 per cent profit-on-turnover across their last 100 runners. From barrier 3, she'll be right there onpace where the tempo should play into the hands of a colt with genuine ability.
