Welcome to Sapphire Coast for the Bermagui Country Club Country Boosted Benchmark 58 over the 1600m on a Good 4 surface with fine weather overhead. The local punters have sized up this middle-distance test and installed Dundeel Flyer at the head of the win market order. Sitting right behind the favourite in the early betting are Delago Serg and I Doubt It, with Peruno and Nagadec rounding out the remaining runners as we get ready for a fascinating yarn on the Sapphire Coast track this afternoon.
Taking a closer look at the form behind those shorter prices, Dundeel Flyer comes in with strong appeal after just missing at Cootamundra over 1200m before closing off late from the tail at Orange over 1400m when second-up. Trained by Danielle Seib and steered by Brodie Loy, the gallop's only win to date was at this exact 1600m distance, making for a compelling form line. Meanwhile, Delago Serg is drawn in barrier 3 for trainer P J Facoory and jockey Damon Budler, looking to bounce back after folding up quickly when on pace at Queanbeyan over 1460m last time out in Class 3 company, dropping back to an easier assignment here.
Looking further down the field, I Doubt It starts from barrier 5 for trainer G Backhouse and jockey Pierre Boudvillain, bringing a hot stable combination that is outperforming market expectations alongside a solid rating of 86, despite being unable to threaten in soft going at Queanbeyan over this trip two runs back. Peruno jumps from barrier 1 for Michael Gatty and Amy Mc Lucas, dropping in class after trimming the margin late at Moruity over 1650m in BM74 grade. Over on the rails, Nagadec holds barrier 2 for Mark Gee and Jordan Quince, looking to use that low draw to overcome a backmarker speed map and make some noise late in the piece.

Won Country Boosted (Bm58) Moruya 15 Sep. Went home tamely in soft going at Queanbeyan at $6. Drops in grade and back up in trip. Worth another look.
ILB
Started at $6.00 and below standard effort when 6th last run at Queanbeyan. Expected to rebound and will try to take advantage of the alley. Strong chance to be considered.
RP
Has won previously at this course; held in sixth over 7½f at Queanbeyan (handicap) when not far behind Delago Serg last week; don't write her off; a winner two starts ago so in with a chance.
RSIS
Was 5/1 and mediocre performance when 6th last run at Queanbeyan. Has the potential to improve sharply and has a positive stall. Should be swooping on the field late. Winning potential.

Fresh. Trimmed margin late at Moruya. Down in class. Can run top three.
ILB
At $15.00 hit the line well when 4th last time at Moruya and challenged by less formidable competitors. Gets a favourable alley. Good chance in this.
RP
Beaten a fair way when fourth at Moruya last month; grade looks suitable; much respected despite defeats on last two starts as he scored three runs back.
RSIS
Odds of 14/1 and overtook some late when 4th last run at Moruya and up against a less competitive field. Has minimal work to do from the stall. Can lift.

Unable to make an impression at Bombala second-up. Quickly up in trip. Keener on others.

On a short back up. Disappointing run when 6th last start at Moruya but drawn nicely. Facing a rise in trip. Gets some weight taken off.

Backing up quickly for this race. Was nothing special when 6th last start at Moruya but facing a rise in trip. Drawn nicely. Suited by the weight drop.
