The Valley Motor Group Handicap over 1200 metres at Moe on a good track sets up as a competitive 56-rated affair at 4:45 pm AEDT. Noble Style heads the market, with Frederick and Alpinova next shortest. The first four in the win order—Noble Style, Frederick, Alpinova, and Mont Saint Michel—frame the early narrative, though form and fitness tell different stories across the field.

Frederick from barrier two under Lachlan King for Michael Huglin shapes as an intriguing proposition. The gelding comes back after fourteen weeks and has genuine first-up pedigree, having gone close in restricted 56 company at Echuca when last on the quick back-up.
