Welcome to Coffs Harbour for a cracking afternoon of racing on a soft 6 surface under fine skies. Race three brings us the Remembering Victoria Moorhead Benchmark 58 Handicap over 1200m, scheduled to jump at 3:00 pm AEDT. The win market has Hard Jakka holding the mantle at the head of affairs, followed closely by Monaco Flyer, Mosgiel Crystal, and Coco Dreaming sitting next in the order as punters weigh up a tricky puzzle on the turf.

Looking into the form behind those shorter prices, Hard Jakka comes off a forgive run after settling back and not figuring in a class two at Port Macquarie following a great previous effort at the same track where it finished runner-up. Meanwhile, Monaco Flyer brings plenty of early dash to the yarn, having set the tempo and boxed on well in sticky going here at Coffs Harbour over 1175m when placing second. Mosgiel Crystal also enters calculations following a 72-day let-up after mowing them down late to score a narrow victory over 1400m at Tuncurry on a soft track.

Further down the line, Coco Dreaming maps midfield under Grady Spokes for trainer Sally Taylor, looking to bounce back from recent efforts after picking up soundly at Taree when not beaten far. With Pride Of Lanka showing speed as a leader and Dirty Does It lurking off the pace, the early sectionals should sort out the wheat from the chaff in this competitive country clash.
