Welcome to Dalby for the Wr Cranes benchmark 62 handicap over 1400m on a soft 5 track under fine skies, scheduled for 4:40 pm AEDT. The win market lines up with Snugg heading calculations closely followed by Botanica, Drialle, and Standlee holding down the front of the betting order. It is a competitive country field where local punters will be keen to dissect the form lines across a mixed bag of seasoned gallopers and backmarkers.

Drialle carries the top weight of 64kg from barrier 7 for trainer Renita Beaton and jockey William Galloway, coming off a strong leading win at Kilcoy over 1500m where he responded well. The stable is going nicely and the combination commands respect despite the big impost. With speed maps showing Drialle and Botanica likely pushing forward as leaders alongside on-pace runners Airswing and Bitoftheblarney, expect a tactical affair where the backmarkers like Standlee and Snugg will be looking to unleash late sectionals if the pace up front suits.
