Punters looking at the win market will find Catwalk Icon heading the betting order, followed closely by Home Tomurra, Sugar Schnapps, Dirty Diana, and Le Notre rounding out the early markers. It is a tricky Benchmark 62 affair where navigating the wet track conditions will prove half the battle for these contenders.

Taking a closer look at the form lines for the shorter-priced runners, Catwalk Icon jumps from barrier two for trainer T & C Mcevoy with Olivia East steering, boasting a neat record of two wins from eight starts. This on-pacer was freshened after resuming with a battling effort in a busy Cranbourne finish and maps to get a sweet run from the perfect gate. Meanwhile, Sugar Schnapps lines up in barrier three for the Hayes stable with Nadia Daniels aboard, coming off a dominant victory at Kilmore where she gave her rivals a proper spanking over 1207m. Although tackling a slightly stronger assignment here, her front-running style suits the conditions.

Further down the market, Dirty Diana represents an interesting yarn for punters after posting the fastest overall finishing sectionals last start when taking out a Benchmark 62 over 1100m right here at Ballarat. Charlotte Littlefield's runner will get back in the field again from barrier five under Jett Stanley, but her proven track credentials suggest she can rattle home late.
