Welcome to Doomben for the Moreton Hire Mdn Plate over 1350m on a good4 track under overcast skies, set to jump at 3:42 pm AEDT. Looking at how the win market is shaping up in this maiden affair, Veomas currently sits at the head of affairs as the shortest runner in the market. Right behind at the top end of betting we find Xami, Boots, and Motivating rounding out the early fancies for punters trying to unravel this puzzle.

Veomas arrives with plenty of exposed form, coming off a solid second at Ipswich over 1350m on good4 where the ears were scrubbed off early to cross and lead before keeping on bravely for the minors. Trainer T J Gollan has this runner well drawn from gate 2, mapping to get a sweet run with Angela Jones in the saddle.
