Race preview

Welcome to Flemington for the Inglis Banner over the 1000m dash on a Good 4 track with showers around. It is a sharp restricted listed two-year-old sprint where the punters have zeroed in early. Looking at the win market order, Soldi holds sway at the top of the betting, closely followed by Goddess Kay, She's Supreme, and The Chancer rounding out the leading vanguard as they prepare to battle it out down the straight.

The top of the market carries some serious form lines into this test. Soldi stamped her class quickly with a tough win in the Debutant Stakes at Caulfield on debut and handles the 1000m trip well from barrier 8 for Ben, Will & Jd Hayes with Blake Shinn steering. She's Supreme comes in with race experience too, having picked up a debut placing in a Group 3 at Randwick over this distance in soft going back on October 3, and she has since tuned up with a barrier trial at Warwick Farm.

We also have plenty of intriguing debutants to keep tabs on. Goddess Kay jumps from barrier 2 for L & T Corstens & W Larkin with Craig Williams in the saddle, having put together two straight jump-out wins right here at the track. Meanwhile, speed maps show Soldi and She's Supreme pressing forward as leaders, which should set up a cracking yarn for us punters as the babies charge down the straight.
