Welcome to Kembla Grange for the Jansz Mdn Plate over 1000m on a Soft 5 track under overcast skies, where punters are lining up to size up a fascinating maiden puzzle. Looking at the win market order, Magic Blaze holds down the shortest quote to kick things off, closely followed by Zourrific, Albatross, and Chumpakidd rounding out the leading fancies as the field prepares for the 12:45 pm AEDT jump.

The yarn behind the market-leaders suggests we have some genuine contenders ready to fire. Magic Blaze represents the J & G Lee stable, returning for a second campaign after an encouraging debut performance at Gosford when fancied, backed up by two recent trials including one at Randwick. With Chumpakidd and Mazemblard listed among the early leaders from their respective barriers, and Zourrific settling back in the field, this ten-metre scamper on the soft going promises plenty of early action and a cracking contest for punters looking to start the day on a high note.
