Welcome to Kembla Grange for the Win Network Midway Mdn Plate over 1400m on a Soft5 track with overcast skies, scheduled to jump at 2:00 pm AEDT. The win market sees Dashing Triple leading the charge as the shortest priced runner, closely followed by Machrihanish, D'Arizza, and Acknowledge Me rounding out the top end of betting. Punters looking for a yarn will find plenty of intriguing form lines to unpack as this three-year-old maiden field sorts itself out over the 1400m journey.

Taking a closer look at the form behind those shorter prices, Dashing Triple comes back for a second campaign after 13 weeks away, having placed at Newcastle on debut last campaign and warming up with two recent barrier trials at Hawkesbury for trainer T Wong and jockey L P Beuzelin. Meanwhile, Machrihanish represents Richard & Will Freedman with Jean Van Overmeire in the saddle from barrier 4, arriving super fit from racing following a great effort running into third in a maiden at Canberra over 1200m. D'Arizza is another interesting runner prepared by Ross Mcconville from barrier 1 with Jon Grisedale steering, having finished not too far off them at this track on debut over 1200m before stepping up in distance here.

Further down the win market order, Acknowledge Me starts from barrier 8 for trainers R & L Price and jockey Jeff Penza, having not been disgraced when finishing fourth at Nowra at her second race start and looking open to progression with that race experience under her belt. Speed-wise, the early tempo should see runners like D'Arizza, Machrihanish, and Reine De Cristal pushing forward in the onpace group, while Dashing Triple and Acknowledge Me settle off the pace. It shapes as a fascinating tactical affair where fitness and barrier manners will tell the tale for these young maiden gallopers.
