Kembla Grange plays host to the Park Fuelled To Win Mdn Hcp over 1200m on a Soft 5 track with overcast skies for this fillies and mares maiden clash. Looking at how punters have treated the early win market, Home And Dry sits right at the top of the order of favouritism. Following closely in the betting sequence are Born To Fly, Rosie Rouge, and Athenara, making for an intriguing puzzle where race fitness meets some very interesting newcomers.

The form lines behind those shorter prices throw up plenty of talking points for the punters. Rosie Rouge, prepared by G Waterhouse & A Bott and piloted by L P Beuzelin from barrier 11, maps as the leader and resumes after a lengthy spell following a reasonable debut performance at Warwick Farm, backed up by some solid trial work. Meanwhile, Born To Fly for John O'Shea & Tom Charlton drops back to a suitable class after an unremarkable debut effort at Rosehill where they will be wiser for the run and hoping the added distance helps. Athenara represents the C J Waller stable from barrier 5 as an expensive purchase out of a stakes-placed mare, though her trials suggest looking to the market for further guidance.

Digging deeper into the yarn, Michael Freedman's debutant Home And Dry draws well in barrier 2 and brings an imposing set of trial victories at Rosehill and Randwick out of a stakes-winning mare, capturing the attention of astute followers. Over in the wider market, Asagao for John Thompson catches the eye as a backmarker who recorded the fastest overall finishing sectionals last start, adding some extra spice to what shapes as a fascinating race on the quick back-up.
